Ashok Kumar Appointed High Commissioner to Zambia
Ashok Kumar also served as Joint Secretary in the Ministry and was appointed Ambassador of India to the Republic of Djibouti on December 19, 2018.
Ashok Kumar, presently Ambassador of India to the Republic of Djibouti, has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Zambia, informed the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
He is expected to take up the assignment of the next High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Zambia shortly.
Yogi Govt To Name Noida Shooting Range After ‘Shooter Dadi’ Chandro Tomar
The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has decided to name the shooting range in Noida after the international shooter Chandro Tomar, popularly known as 'Shooter Dadi'.
Chandro Tomar died at the age of 89 in April due to Covid.
In 2019, a film based on her life, 'Saand Ki Aankh' was released.
Shooter Dadi had started professional shooting at the age of 60 and went on to win many national competitions. She is considered the oldest shooter in the world.

IFFCO to set up nano urea plant in Argentina
Leading fertiliser cooperative IFFCO on Wednesday said it will set up a nano urea liquid manufacturing plant in Argentina in partnership with two agencies -- Instituto Nacional de Asociativismoy Economía Social (INAES) and Cooperative Confederation of Argentina "Cooperar".
IFFCO, INAES and Cooperar -- entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the same, it said in a statement.
